Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Guillotine, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Guillotine extracts structured data from images using AI. We provide this on a credit basis — each extraction costs one credit. New accounts receive 3 free credits.

3. Credits and payments

Credits are purchased in packs and never expire. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD and do not include any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.

Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law. We do not offer refunds for unused credits or dissatisfaction with extraction quality, as AI outputs are inherently variable.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Guillotine to process images you do not have the right to use, or for any unlawful purpose. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of images you upload. We store them temporarily to perform extraction and do not use them to train models. Images may be retained for a short period to support re-download of results, then deleted.

6. Disclaimers

Guillotine is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about extraction accuracy or uptime. AI output may contain errors — always verify results before relying on them.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
